Spargo Hairdressing’s main aim is not only to give the highest level of hairdressing
in every area required in the fast changing and rapidly growing hair and beauty industry.
We also try to create the atmosphere and friendly environment that will make coming to the hairdressers the 
wounderfull, relaxing and fantastic experience, it should and we hope it will be.
We hope that when every client, whether they are an existing client that’s visited many times or a visitor for the first time, will receive not only an amazing service of the highest quality.
Spargo Hairdressing Awards and Recognition.
Spargo has been open for five years now, and especially in the last two years since the arrival of Red our artistic director and the forming of our artist team the salon has gone from strength to strength winning many awards and being finalists in many many others.
Our philosophy is that its not all about the hair cut, yes that’s important but also the level of customer service the client gets when they are having the service needs to be above and beyond other salons.
With a staff of 16 with many years experience we can cover all areas of hairdressing. Now we are being recognized more within the industry more opotunities open up. For example Joanne Burns our specialist in hair up and extentions is now part of the clynol protégé team, and we were recently asked the appear on bbc essex because of winning the clynol creative image award and recently two of our staff Joanne and Louise got through the first round of the bbc young talent of the year award.
Also this year Red (Chris Plumb) our artist director and another member of our staff both got through to the l’oreal colour trophy regional finals and came 4th and 5th in womens and mens.

Yesterday I visited Spargo for my 6 weekly cut n blow dry with Ian. The colour was carried out by Chantelle. As usual I was greeted by a member of staff, ready to take my coat and offer a refreshment. The moment you arrive you are made to feel special. This isn’t a once off it is like that every visit, and Ive been going since Spargo opened. I love the whole ambience, I can chill whilst having my colour done, and there is a lot of friendly banter. As an eczema sufferer and allergies to certain products Spargo have found solutions and helped me keep my scalp in good condition with information on products and treatments which are suited to these types of skin complaints. These are things that are important to me and it’s money well spent.
